The Pompeii Resort Hotel is just minutes from the Archeological Park of Pompeii and a short walk from modern Pompeii and the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary.

Further, Pompeii is located near the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary. Every year, 4 million people from all over the world visit the Sanctuary. Two times each year, on May 8 and on the first Sunday of October, tens of millions of people make a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary to participate in the Supplica alla Madonna di Pompeii, or a petition to the Madonna by reading the famous prayer by the Blessed Bartolo Longo. The ceremony is televised and can be viewed or heard by radio all over the world.

Pompeii is located on the slope of Mt. Vesuvius, one of the world's most famous volcanoes. The encompassing Vesuvius National Park is characterized by its lush natural beauty and diverse animal species. The Park has a network of trails and is the ideal place for outdoor recreation, such as hiking and mountain biking.


From Pompeii, it is easy to reach seaside locations such as the Sorrentine Peninsula, Amalfi Coast and the islands of Ischia, Capri and Procida.
